Day 1 – Fly to Djerba

Upon your arrival at Djerba Airport, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to your accommodation, where you can settle in and prepare for your Sahara adventure. The remainder of the day is yours to relax, explore your surroundings, and familiarize yourself with the local culture. Whether you choose to unwind by the pool or take a stroll through the vibrant streets, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to make the most of your time in Djerba.

Day 2 – Matmata / Douz / Tembaine

This exciting desert experience begins with a delicious breakfast, followed by a departure in 4*4 cars from Djerba which will take the tourists towards the destination of Douz. On the way, the tourists will take a break for lunch in Matmata, a small town known for its unique underground houses.

Upon arrival in Douz, the local guide will make briefing regarding the rules of conduct and driving. The guests will then depart on Quad/SSV (all-terrain vehicles) towards Tembaine, a desert area known for its big dunes. The journey will involve an adventurous ride through the sand dunes, which is sure to provide a thrilling experience.

The guests will then arrive at the Tiniri camp in Tembaine where they will have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunset. They will also witness a fire and a demonstration of sand bread baking, a traditional method of cooking bread in the desert.

Finally, the day will end with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in tents at the campsite.

Day 3 – Lac Houidhat / Tembaine

The third day of this program begins with a delicious breakfast at the Tiniri camp in Tembaine. Following breakfast, visitors will embark on a Quad/SSV ride towards the lake, taking advantage of the multifaceted dunes on the way.

Once at the lake, visitors will take a break for lunch and enjoy swimming in the refreshing waters. After lunch and swimming, the group will return to Tembaine in the afternoon.

Upon arrival at the Tiniri camp, visitors can relax and take in the serene desert environment. Dinner will be served at the campsite, followed by an overnight stay in tents.

Day 4 – Douz / Toujane / Djerba

After a restful night at the Tiniri camp in Tembaine, visitors will wake up to a delicious breakfast before setting out on an exciting adventure on Quad/SSV vehicles. The group will traverse the multifaceted dunes, taking in the stunning desert scenery along the way.

The first stop of the day will be in Douz, where the group will break for lunch and have some time to relax before continuing their journey to Djerba in 4*4 cars.

En route to Djerba, the group will make a stop in Toujane, a charming Berber village situated atop a hill. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the village, learn about the local culture, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

After their visit to Toujane, the group will make their way to Djerba, where they can take some time to unwind and relax before departing for their journey back home.

Day 5 – Departure From Djerba

After breakfast, check-out from the accommodation and transfer to the Djerba airport for your departure flight. As you leave, take with you memories of the captivating beauty, rich history, and diverse culture of Southern Tunisia.

Dar Bibine – 2 Nights
